Outside of college classes, Lake Superior College hosts a whole slew of public events – ranging from choir concerts to seminars to rain barrel sales events.

Considering laughter makes the world go round, it’s no surprise that one of LSC’s most popular public events is an event that’s all about comedy appreciation: The ‘Busy Bodies’ – The Duluth/Superior Chapter of the Laurel and Hardy Appreciation Society.

Unfamiliar with the comedy team of “Laurel and Hardy?” Stanley Laurel and Oliver Hardy were a comedy team whose goofball antics spanned the 1920s-1940s. With comedy shorts such as “The Hoosegow,” “West of Hot Dog” and “Lucky Dog,”  at Lake Superior College on Friday, September 9th, you’ll be able to witness first-hand  two of the century’s most influential comedy teams. Pratfalls, brilliant timing and classic jokes are all part of comedic legacy left behind by “Ollie and Stan.”

Popcorn and soda will be served…along with sides of laughter and comic history.
